I've used chargebacks in business, but I don't know if it's the same way you'd be using them.
It was an accounts recievable term. You sell your product to a store (so they can sell it to the public). You charge them for the product. They come back and say, "well, 2 items you shipped us were defective", and they subtract that money from their payment. Where I worked, that was called a chargeback.
Risk management sounds like more of a legal/liability thing.
