If you are after rentals, the best web site for Perth is
http://www.realestate.com.au/
but be aware that there is a rental shortage, so you will need to pay a higher rent price to get hold of something for a 6 month period
if you are after a serviced apartment try these web sites
http://www.perthapartments.com.au/
http://www.perthservicedapartments.com.au/
http://www.perth-apartments.com.au/
most serviced apartments are located close to the CBD.
if you are after a rental, good short term spots are south Perth, subi, freo, Scarborough north bridge they have good social and night life.
The restaurants are no where near like they are in Melbourne and Sydney but there is a good cluster of restaurants in Subi and north bridge which is very close to the city centre.
Things to see would be Kings Park, Rott-Ness island, Perth Zoo, Swan valley, Margaret River if you like your wine and beaches, Cottesloe and Scarborough beaches, Fremantle, Nigaloo reef if you like your diving and snorkeling and see a AFL game in Subi.
Hope that helps.... good luck

no longer all of ny state is costly for lease. i'm initially 3 hundred miles far off from the city and lease for a a million mattress room is approximately $4 hundred. here in NYC, human beings pays any volume put in front of them because of the fact they pays to be interior the thick of the city. I also have a buddy paying $750 a month to stay in an "condominium" the size of a closet in Chelsea. It has a million window, his single mattress is pushed against a wall and closed in by the wall with the window and the wall of the closet (that's gigantic sufficient to hold close some clothing). in the time of from the closet, and pushed against the different wall is a mini-refrigerator with a sink next to it. Squeezed against the sink is his table that holds his laptop and tv and touches the wall opposite the door (that's an analogous wall the pinnacle of the mattress touches and that still has the window). you may show sideways to "walk" by using the area it quite is a on the instant line from the door to the window. approximately 3 human beings max could slot in there at as quickly as -- 4 in case you pass away the door open and function somebody status midway interior the hallway. in fact, his condominium is an analogous dimensions of a queen length mattress. the bathing room and kitchen are on the top of the hall and shared with the human beings on the floor residing interior an analogous tiny "residences". I asked him why he could pay lots for considered one of those tiny area. His answer? "it quite is ny. i decide directly to stay the place the action in and that i'm able to't have sufficient money $2,000 for a a million mattress room."
