If a guy is chasing you and you really like him, how should you play things if you think he mite be a player but hes told you that he likes you?

Play it cool ... If he wants to take you out to dinner or for a drink, accept but make sure he knows how far the date will go - none of the "come back to mine for coffee" rubbish!
If he likes you enough, he'll be OK with the ground rules and if he enjoys the date, he should ask you out again. If he does, he's interested but still might be a player so set the same rules for the next couple of dates too. If he still wants to take you out and/or be with you, then maybe he's not a player and you might let him have more than he's been getting - if you catch my drift! - after a few dates. Only go the final step with him when you're ready and when you're sure he's interested in you for you, not another notch on his bedpost!

You should just tell him that you want to casually date...this way, you get to not only set the boundaries, thus, no surprises if he is dating someone else...Also, in this way, you can see if things develop with him without it being very serious and worrying about how much of a player he is...
Eventually, how he really is will reveal itself through spending time with him...in this way, you won't have to stress anything...and can take things in your own pace :)

well try start talkin 2 him u'll knw him much better and could even find out if he is really a player and as u mentioned u really like him talkin 2 him wud be cool but don't get too much involved in the first one or two meetings. since he also likes u try and find out whats on his mind and go accordingly best of luck

i think u should do what u feel. if u really like him then go for it but if he really is a player then i wud look around first..... he mite not b serious.

Act as if you are not interested that will make him want you more but if you finally do give in be warned if hes a player then he will leave as soon as he gets what he wants.

Get to know him! thats the only way don't have sex early on in the realtionship as if he is a player that maybe all he is after. take things slow and if he really likes you he'll wait. if not then it is his loss.

play cool. accept the offer of a drink but with other people so you can see how he treats you in a group. that'll indicate whether he's serious or a player

go out with him but don't sleep with him right away because that might be all he wants...you don't want to find out if he is a jerk the hard way. give him a chance, but not a very big one!
