men be allowed to step out of their houses only if they are accompanied by a close female relatives - mothers, sisters or wife. As rape is committed by the men only, is this not the best way of ensuring that no rapes are committed.

blackmagic- I never said that in all muslim countries women need to go out with male relatives.
The suggestion is made keeping in view the fact that muslims quote the possibility of rape to justify forcing the woman to wear the burkha/hijab. I feel my suggestion is the best for stopping rape.

Men have been ordered FIRST to lower their gaze and guard their modesty. I never said men are exempt from this. So if men lowers his gaze and also the women cover themselves, and lower their gaze, it is almost impossible that they will commit fornication. So its both ways, men are not exempt from it.
By the way, to satisfy you, I will quote from the Qur'an, please NOTE that men are ordered to lower their gaze FIRST, then the women are addressed.
"Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that will make for greater purity for them; and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; and that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their chests and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers..." [continuing list of family members and others in front of whom women are exempt from covering] (Qur'an Chapter 24, Verse 30-31)
Its obvious that the Qur'an emphasizes that men should lower their gaze and that is why it mentions them first and orders men to guard their modesty. Subsequently, the order for women is given.
I hope that satisfies you.
and Allah Knows Best,

I says to beautify modestly in Quran. this is hadith that asserts placed on hijab etc. i don't placed on on on the 2d. Please do not use the revert word. I call myself a convert - it is much less offensive to diverse human beings. France have a blanket ban on non secular dress - that is going for each physique btw. In some respects this is a properly element. I comprehend women human beings whose mothers force them to placed on hijab (in the united kingdom) and it would help them. it gets human beings to combine. not particular approximately the only in Turkey inspite of the undeniable fact that. Muslims ought to sit down down back purely a sprint and flow - i hate the bitching on the mosque complaining that they are able to't carry out a little element. they have freedom of religion! Nada - that may not the element. they don't look seeking to have an effect on your faith. i'm surprised you even come for this reason. Is it shaky already? If not, what's the complication? Edit: Kitty. As a former Christian i can enable you recognize that Mary did not placed on hijab. She wore a headscarf and opposite to what Muslims say it does not tell Christian women human beings they ought to be wearing one. like the Quran it says dress modestly consistent with the celebration. additionally, nuns do not duvet all their hair only so usual argument is irrelevant too. Edit: I only desire to show that as a convert beware that your perspectives do not become hardline. it could take place with new placed zeal and this is somewhat off spectacular for somebody. Edit: to the poster above. Dawah is often properly in spite of the fact that guilting women human beings into wearing a hijab isn't the right answer to circulate approximately it. I have no thought why women human beings placed on Jilbab/Niqab in the west - if some thing it draws extra concentration to themselves than in the event that they did not. Edit: If it is returning to something then you shouldn't get disappointed mutually as Christians mentioned as converts reverts using actuality this is there thought. Do you spot what I recommend? Edit: Nada - in the form you think of that technique why not stay in a Muslim us of a. The West is secular for a purpose and no one ought to assume appropriate scientific care.

Facial hair is accepted on males in Muslim societies, but not on women, so it must be hidden. Women are not allowed to go out alone because they fear that women might end up competing with young boys for the pecuniary exchange for sex in those societies.

Women are not "forced" to wear Burkas. They do it because it´s part of tradition, just like Scottish women don´t really wear the kilt, but just the men! Women are also allowed to step out of their houses without male relatives, in most Muslim countries that is. It´s not cool to generalize everything like that. It´s a minority in the Muslim world that actually still does things like that.
