The problem is two fold friend. Fist you are obviously bitter and hard hearted for some reason unknown to me. You have made statements saying you are an atheist but you are obviously spending a great deal of time and effort fighting against a god that you claim does not exist. Second problem you share with many is that you do not understand Christianity. Christianity in its pure form is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Denominations, while some are more biblical than others, really are unnecessary distractions to the work of god at times. For you to have such a hatred toward Christianity I can only assume that you have had a bitter experience with a person or group of persons claiming its name and being far from it...that's not uncommon in this world. I hope you meet someone that changes your mind

It relies upon in case you incorporate the early church, there have been countless Christian communities back then which does no longer be seen Christian in the event that they sprang up right this moment (The Gnostic cosmology develop into significantly diverse on how they considered the god of Abraham). maximum could consider Jesus as "'son' of 'god'" and 'messiah', yet however, there is a few on the perimeters that don't. The resurrection is likewise an exceptionally uncomplicated concept. Virgin beginning isn't that significant. And what "unique sin" potential varies a great deal. it truly is a complicated taxonomy. it truly is like attempting to assert what's in uncomplicated between an Reform Judaism, Orthodox Judaism, and Judaism as practiced earlier King Josiah. If I had to place it into words, i could say that all of them have faith that Jesus, a Jewish dude who lived in first century Levant, develop into uniquely significant, divinely so, in forgiving mankind of their fallacious nature. i think of that covers even the early gnostics. Oh, additionally he have been given accomplished by potential of the government, undesrvingly so.

...If we are all honest, we must admit we have or have had certain prejudices in our lives. We attend a Christian, multi-race congregation (black/white/Hispanic) and work hard to respect and love each other. The perfect church does not exist, because all churches are made up of imperfect people.
...According to what I find in Scripture, here is what I would look for in a sound church:
1. The Bible alone and in its entirety much be the authority for life and practice. It must be taught and stressed from the pulpit.
2. Honors and believes Jesus as Lord, and as Deity
3. Believes in the Virgin Birth of Christ
4. Believes in the Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
5. Believes in the 2nd coming of Christ
6. Has elder rule (must be male); male pastors only
8. Preaches the Gospel message clearly - that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that He was buried, and that He was raised on the 3rd day, according to the Scriptures.
9. Focuses on making disciples out of believers
10. Equips the believers in evangelism and biblical counseling
11. Stresses the discovery and use of spiritual gifts by all believers.
12. Has a heart for foreign missions and missionaries

I don't think it's fait to put a label on a group. There are bigots among every religion out there. Just like there are racist in every religion and every race. Sexists, haters, extremists, etc. People are individuals and shold be looked at as individuals. I personally think that we (the world) have problems and fight a lot because we label people. There are Christians, whether, Catholic, Protestant, Lutherans, etc. that are racists, sexists, hypocritcs. But to group them as a whole is wrong.

There are bigots and non bigots in all the denominations. Just as in the general population. So too there are real Christians and false Christians in every church.

Christians aren't perfect they are just forgiven. And not all Christians are bigots, just like all atheists are not bigots. There is bad apples across religions, churches, denominations, ethnic groups and societies of the world and yes those people on Capital hill too.
I am sorry, you are guessing, please know there are real Christians out there. I hope one day soon you will meet one. Peace.

There aren't any. As other answerers have said, there will be bigots in EVERY denomination. There will also be people who pretend to be Christians, and they're really not.
I avoid church entirely. Too many bad experiences. BUT I don't blame God for that, I blame PEOPLE!

Real Christianity has no place for bigotry. If they call themselves Christians and they are bigots - they are still sinning. But again remember Christians are not perfect, just forgiven. Don't judge Christians so harshly.

It would be great if this were so. But Christians are human.. we all sin, and fall short. I don't know of specific denominations that are so. But as Christians we need to strive toward perfection.

Your problem is you don't have a clue what being a Christian really means.
