If that was my son hanging on a cross, I'd say, "Wait a minute Jesus, who's your Daddy? Don't forget son I'm almighty and i'm giving you the power to climb down off that cross and give the Romans 'The Finger'.. and today everyone would be Christian because what religion could out-do a story like that?

Theology explains that a Jesus who quit short of death, for any reason, would have failed in his mission of redemption, Satan would have won, and we would still be lost in our sins.

By allowing himself to be unjustly put to death, Jesus permitted Satan to destroy himself, as no one had the right to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only begotten Son of God.

As punishment for his offense, Satan was stripped of all the power and authority over mankind that he had legally, but illicitly acquired from Adam, when Adam sinned.

Jesus was then appointed as the new head of all mankind, with freedom, forgiveness for sins, and eternal life available at no charge, to all the truly faithful, through baptism in his newly founded, universal Church.

There's no religion that can out-do this story, either, because it's true, it worked, and it continues to work, today.

I tell you what can out do that. The cross was a fact that Jesus willing went to die for our sins. But it gets even better!!! He arose from the dead !!! and He ascended into heaven and He is coming again!!! amazing love we can't hope to understand in this lifetime.

Now who's your daddy?

The whole reason God sent his Son to die was to allow us to go to heaven. I think it is a great thing that He gave us Jesus. Think for one moment. If he didn't die for us we would have to go through that pain. He did it for us. If Jesus got down from the cross we would go through so much pain for our sin.

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Listen - Jesus laid down his life - He gave it willingly. For you and me. It is a relationship with Jesus, not a religion. Also God does love Jesus, that is why He gave the world Jesus to save us. Jesus paid our sin debt - a debt we could not repay.

"For God so loved the world that He gave his One and Only Son, Jesus, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish, but have Eternal Life." That is the reason God gave Jesus and Jesus laid down His life willingly, because of His love for us.

Look, God's already admitted to being a jealous deity aswell as condoning incest, bestiality and massacres of non-believers. What makes you think he's this loving father figure that every Christian makes him out to be? They're just shaping him to how they think he should be, much like they try to do to the world around them.

There are more simple and logical versions of this story but they don't want to listen. Read it in Islam books. You will find it easier to digest than this story.
