I would think I was an *** for playing games with someone who felt genuin affection for me.
If I was certain that I did not say or do anything misleading or that could be misunderstood by this person then I'd have to assume I was better off not having someone so dramatic in my life.

I would think that person has been stalked or pressured by some persistent person. Sounds like s/he's trying everything to get that person they're writing to to leave them alone.
If i were the person recieving a note such as that, I would back off before they press charges against me. It's against the law to harrass another person.
If you know the person who recieved such a note, suggest to them to back off.
