Mosquitoes do not transmit HIV, the virus responsible for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Numerous scientific studies by the World Health Organization, the United States Centers for Disease Control and many other leading researchers have shown that the AIDS virus is not capable of being transmitted by mosquitoes or any other insect family.
(The second link below is also worth looking at, as it explains why it's not possible).

Basically no.
I have been to a tropical place in the wet season and it was mosi heaven. What you can get from Mosquitos:
* Maleria, this can be fatal, but only in extreme cases.
* Dengue fever (no cure but its only like a severe case of the flu, and anemia follows, which your body will fight).
* Japanese Encephalitis. This is swelling of the brain and can be fatal, but there is inoculations that may prevent it, or if you are unfortunate to get it, a mild form of the disease would occour.
* Yellow fever is another, but there are injections for that too.
However, I have not heard of aids, or cancer being transfered. The infections listed above, are bacteria infections that the mosquito tends to have.
Aids on the other hand, is a viral disease and this is transmitted by body fluid. Human to Human.
By having sex with someone who is infected, sharing needles, and by blood transfusion with infected blood.
However, if you are unsure, simply ask your doctor or travel nurse. But they would have told me if aids were transfereble by mosquitos.

Look dear,AIDS is mainly sexually transmitted disease ,but can be transmitted through blood transfusion, using contaminated instruments during surgery,in dental clinics or in intravenous drug abusers.May also be transmitted in utero from mother to her foetus.
NO reported transmission through vectors as mosquito or fleas.
Mosguito are responsible for transmission of a group of diseases as filariasis & malaria & others, each by special type of mosquito.

mosquito spreads many diseases, but thank God not AIDS.Mosquitoes have a system that once they suck the blood infected with HIV,the digestive enzymes destroy the virus. So,not to worry about AIDS the next time you get a bite from mosquito.

Basically AIDS is that type of virus which transmits throug anal sex, unprocted sex. And not obviously by the mosquitoes.
This virus can't transfers through the carriers like mosquito, houseflies, etc..
