any powerful one over 1500watts that has a "cold button'. When hair is curled in a comb of brush, heated, then cooled, it will hold the curl better (kind of like dumping steel into cold water to give it "Temper"). It works !

ooo theres a NEW one by conair its red and it kind of has a brush attached so that it will help striaghten while drying its a bit much for a hair dryer but im gonna invest in one soon ... =0)
