To switch myself into Christian mode..
Why on earth is watching porn a sin? It's true, there are images in it that could CAUSE you to sin, but the actual watching...no. Sins are things you commit or think.
Granted, I don't see how anyone could watch porn without having sinful thoughts, but I still have to argue the semantics of it.

What is there to research about it?
I went to a Police Academy, and 2 years of Law enforcement. I didn't have to watch a Homicide to know how to investigate one.
I didn't have to watch a murder to know what a murder was.
Are College's today, teachings people with that level of brainwave, they have to SEE it, to understand it?
.
BTW: The point being this. What is the REAL reason too require people to watch porn?
.
Does the Bible teach to go do sinful research and experience what it is, so you know to stay away from it?
.

You shouldn't put yourself in a situation that can cause you to fall (sin) if you can help it. I've never heard of such a situation where a student was forced to do such a thing. I shouldn't stick my hand in fire, which hurts me physically. Why should I watch porn, which could cause me to sin, and hurt me spiritually? My relationship with God is more important than a grade.

This would be one of those times you would need to choose to either do what someone tells you to do, or what the Lord tells you to do.
There is NO excuse for sin, and watching porn is definately a sin.

yes it is. No school can force you to do anything against your beliefs. I know society is leaning towards protecting every belief system accept christianity but you still have the right to dismiss yourself from this behavior. What does watching pornography have to do with education anyway?

It is sin.
Matthew 7:28: But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

I'd question my choice of colleges, and I'd like to know the rationale behind it. After incompetent parents, our school system has the most damaging impact on our children/ young adults.
