Is it just giving flowers and saying poems that they love you

No; but that is a start. Sending flowers is very nice and so is writing poems. The main thing that I think women want is someone who can show affection and have a conversation without getting mad and controlling.

Heck no, its cooking me dinner and washing the dishes...and heck while trying to be romantic the guy could clean my whole houe...
