There is a common skin condition called pityriasis rosea. Your rash sounds as though it could be this. If it is, don't worry - it's a self-limited disease that is thought by some experts to be a mild virus. If it is pityriasis rosea, it could get much worse before it gets better and could take up to six weeks to clear. You can treat the itchiness with some hydrocortisone cream. A fungal infection would not spread that fast. Go to a dermatologist if you get worse.

How long as this been there?, has it just come up or is it something that's been there for a while? Eczema is usually itchy so I wouldn't have though it would be that. Get it checked out by the doc if it has been there for a while or growing.

Ezcema tends to be itchy and inflamed so I doubt it is that. You may have contact dermatitis due to contact with an allergen or chemical that has affected you.

Go to Boots and ask them to advise you of an emollient lotion to use on it. It it doesn't change in a few days go to your doctor. Also take lots of Vit C, it changes skin conditions in a few days.

Why would you ask here and not go to your GP? It could be so many things and your chances of getting an accurate diagnosis on something nobody here can see are minimal to zero. I suppose you already know you should go to the Dr and are just waiting to be told to do so. GO TO THE DOCTOR! Happy now?
