Always being told not to concentate to much on a girls looks, Im fine with that but the bit I dont get why good looking people still go for good looking people. If it is not what what the guys with looks " need" why do they do it? OR am I being told to go for personaility cos I cant pull a girl whose a "looker"?

To hell with the lookers. They're always too hung up on themselves. I'll take a 'plain Jane' with a good personality any day.

A girls looks are not necessarily important it is there presonality that you will want to go for.. something to think about that i have heard alot of people complain about that the pretty girls with no personality after you marry them let them selves go and turn in to the not so pretty girl and then they have nothing because the woman they wanted that was so pretty is no longer pretty and she has no personality what so ever don't want to get stuck with that.
guys that go with just the pretty girls are vain.. and just want something to show off.
Every one is pretty in there own way.. but i would go for the personality .. atleast you know that you will get along with them for the long term and there won't be the drastic changes later on .
The not so pretty girls have alot of love to give and will care for you alot.. as they aren't snooty and stuck up because of looks and having the gorgeous guy on there arm is all that they are looking for also.
enjoy your woman with the personality.. and have fun.. you will find you are much happier than the other guys.

Men and now women are told by TV, magazines everywhere these days looks are important and as a man it is nice to have a good looking woman but if you want love and marriage go with your heart character as you call it is more important with the exception of a few they all dont look so good sooner or later but loyality and faithfulness is more likely to stay as it was when you first met .

I've had my fair share of stunners, lookers and not so hot but not bad... I have found from personal experiance the following:
Stunners - No (or very little) personality
Good Lookers - To up themselves - personality defects but ok.
Average - Nice personalities, you might get bored at times
Not so hot but not bad - Great personalities, you will never get bored

I'm not saying you are one of these, as I don't know you but I generally find the good looking (and I'm talking supermodel looks here)people I know tend to lack something in the personality/brains department, why would a no very intelligent man go for a very clever woman? She would bore of him and quite possibly he would be bored of her intellectual conversations! Its just my opinion, but I think there is some truth there!

it's a fact that people (men and women) are usually naturally attracted to similarly attractive partners. SO...a real good looking bloke will usually find a real good looking woman - why wouldn't they? Also, middle - attractiveness people usually go for partners similar to themselves as well and so on

its strange aint it? i think its like a set of scales... if you have personnality the looks bit goes down and visa versa, but i think the key is when you find someone who has the personality that you can get on with and be friends with and also the looks that will keep you interested,
get that right and you will think they are amazing and sexy, and it will increase with time!
