A good man understands the essential dignity of every human being.

A good man does not chase after sincerity within himself -- he doesn't constantly try to appear sincere to others.

A good man is a storyteller who has other men as his friends. Without thinking about it, he will teach THIS skill to his children, rather than teaching them how to appear to care (which is sincerity). A man who can't tell a story and doesn't have friends will put YOU on a pedestal and be suspicious of everyone around you, including your family, ultimately including you, yourself.

A good man will respond to your nagging and bad moods by making you laugh!

A good man is himself competent at what he does for a living, and he has only a few hobbies --but is good at them.

A good man isn't insulted by and doesn't resent intelligent, detailed questions.

A good man deftly shies away from mockery and sarcasm.
