I've been flirting with a guy for a while, and finally on Friday he made a move. We were both pleased that things had moved on, in fact he was positively giddy with excitement :o)

We were both busy over the weekend, but I've sent him one joke e-mail and one casual text this morning asking after his weekend........nothing!

I'm no bunny boiler and normally I'd be too busy to notice or care, but for some reason this is really bothering me and I'm in agony wondering what the score is. If he's so into me why is he hesitating?

Having read some of the answers, I wanted to add that when I said he "made a move", I meant we had a bit of a snog! Nothing more!

And I'm not in the habit of chasing....I am the epitome of Miss Hard To Get. The e-mail and the text is far in excess of what I might normally offer, but for some reason his lack of response is getting me unusually narked.......

I'm about 3 steps ahead of you with this one, don't contact him again you have done enough for one weekend, if he knows he can have you then then he doesn't need to chase you, let the men be the hunters, being to keen is such a turn off.
Get some dignity back and let him contact you next, Ive been there, back off and he will come running, bl eave me, just try it! Good Luck, if its meant to be, it will happen.

give it a week. if still no response send him a text and ask him (nicely) whether he is still interested. keep the message casual, short and to the point. nothing bunnyboiler about that. that's logic. if he hasn't got the gumption to respond then you can move on. afterall why bother with the waiting game? game-playing is for time-wasters. plus your self-esteem should not be in the hands of uncaring forces.

sometimes guys have the whole "3day rule". has it been three days yet?

otherwise, who knows. might be simply that he has no idea what to say. this can be fixed with a question... like ... wanna meet up sometime this week? lol

or he coulda lost his fone, in which case, a joke email isnt really something a guy would find that easy to reply casually to.... whats he going to reply with? hehehaha? lol
in this case, just call a mutual friend to ask him bout you

he may regret getting with you and be avoiding you, but if hhe was really exited like you say, this is highly doubtful.

id just call him before the weekend to invite him somewhere.

Fear of commitment.. don't push him he will get back to you. Maybe he is busy..
Your date went well for you , but who knows what he thought.. so give him some time.. he will either call you for another date or forget about you..
you apparently had more feelings going in to this than he did..
Be patient girl.. you can't push a good thing..

Relationships usually wind up being a lot of game playing, if this is his game, play it also..ignore him..you will find out then, he will either come'a'running or completely lose interest..good luck

It is too early to start to complain now. I suggest that you find out why he has not responded. Give him some time.
