I realize this is my problem only because you can't change the way people are but i'm so reluctant to confront this professor 'cause everytime I'm about to do it, I fail. I have to confront her though, 'cause she's the only one who will take my thesis so I can graduate. I despise unprofessional behavior and deliberately mean & inconsiderate remarks and people like that make me sick. I was just about to go and ask her about my thesis but I couldn't enter her room. How do i deal with this problem of mine and put my emotions aside. I am always professional and never hurt anyoneone's feelings but I realize I also have to deal super professionally with the people who are exactly my opposite.
What do I say to myself so I am well prepared when the time comes...

Thanks.

Seriously, for you own sake, you should cast your feeling aside, because she's the one who's deciding if you're gonna to graduate. I know it's hard, but that's the reality. Once you graduate, you can be as professional as possible for the next generation to follow.

I don't know what it is you need to confront with this professor and that might help us give a response that would be useful. I have been irritated with a few of them, too.

It seems at times there are so many hoops to jump through and with only a few months to go, I can honestly say I am just jumping them to get that paper that says the university supports what I already am.

Your question, though not clear as to what the problem is helped me to remember to keep on smiling and pretending that I am constantly on stage when around those who love to flaunt position. The brass ring (that little piece of paper that costs a LOT of money) is in sight.

You can't change people. You can, however become one in their position and change the way things are done.

Best wishes.

Well i think you should just relax, the more stiffed up you are the more harder its going to be for you to face her. Just go in and talk to her, what ever remarks she gives, talk to her in peacefull manner,if you worked hard on this it will show.Good Luck, Have Some More Courage.
