well if you have the basic weather soul thought, that would and should be the Holy one of God, the one that wants to please God,
then you have your sense, of senses voice, that flesh lustful voice that will justify any thought of sin you want to commit, and then you do it cause it got into your heart.
so,confusion is only in the person who doesn't know how the thoughts can effect the walk they committed to God in the first place.

I think what your asking about is basically a skill of... I think it could be called "Stillness"

to clarify, your having an issue where what the concluded action, according to physical senses, disagrees with the opinion of your inner-self and/or non-physical senses.

I would suggest to try to work on calming your mind... learning to identify exactly which views are that of your physical form, and that which are the views of your higher self, and see why it is they are in disagreement.

You decide what to do in any situation judging by past experience.or what someone is saying ot you. Too often people have no opinion themselves and are easily led by others. If you feel 'queasy' about whether or not to participate in a questionable deal, just say no.

You are a soul with senses of feeling and reasoning. Your senses are from "your soul" (youself), I don't have a clue what you're talking about.

I think there should be a third category...experience.
memory of past experience would have a very strong influence.
