If you are buying a ring with stones you should definitely go for a 7.5 because otherwise it will constantly twist around on the finger and also be prone to falling off. It is far easier to make a gold ring larger than smaller unless there is a pattern or stones running all the way around the back of the ring. Girls fingers will swell up at certain times of the month! Btw - titanium rings cannot be re-sized, but gold, platinum and silver are all really easy to size up for a nominal amount at your local jewellers.

Get the 7.5 - It's better for the ring to be a little tight at times as long as it's not too loose other times. She'd probably rather it be a little tight at times instead of falling off other times. How many times will she take it off in her life anyways? Her fingers will swell and contract daily. Heat, cold, salt intake etc makes them do this. I thought the same thing when I was picking out my ring, and I'm very happy that I got the smaller size. It's perfect!

It's way easier to get the ring sized down than trying to get it sized up so just go one bigger. Also as you age your fingers are going to swell so maybe take that into concideration so she can wear the ring forever. Going on a plane makes my fingers swell up so much I tend to not wear rings because it just gets uncomfortable.

If your girlfriend wears a 7.5 then at some places they can go a quarter up so that you can get her a 7.75. It will be a much better fit. If you know where you are going to get her ring remember to ask them. I know that Robins brothers does. Good Luck!

Everyone's fingers swell and contract daily, depending on the time of day, water intake, salt intake, etc.
Get a right that is slightly larger. You don't want her finger to swell and have trouble removing it. *ouch*
