The BEST gift would be your love, respect and time. Time is the most precious thing anyone can give another. It doesn't cost anything and will always be remembered. I don't think you are looking for that type of answer, so in addition to the above, give him tickets to some event he would like, buy him something related to his hobby, make a date with him for dinner and a movie.....think about it.
