Saturday around lunch time/early afternoon. That way people will still feel like they have their saturday and the rest of their weekend. Also, you'll have saturday and sunday to clean up after. Do you really want to be cleaning up before going back to work the next day? I hate when people have things on Sundays - all I want to do on sunday is relax and sit at home before having to go back to work on monday.

Saturday becouse if the kids are coming from school, they will be very excited about leaving school then going straight to a birthday party. Definately Saturday!!! Make it around 11:30 or 2:30 for about 1.5-2.5 hours
