I was going to say something intelligent, but everyone seems to be playing guessing games and I think I'd struggle to say anything intelligent anyway so...
I reckon your that creepy thing from the twilight zone that sits on the wing and rips it to pieces while that guy panics and nobody believes him! Your an Air Gremlin and you move from plane to plane trying to cause nasty things to happen in alternate dimensions. Your not a very nice individual and I think you should stop it and consider a change of career.

Well, the reason is that you either have buisness to do in far places or you're rich and can afford a life long plane ticket.
OR, you're a pilot or one of the crew members in a aircraft.
