The best sign will say Dog On Duty...You don't want the one that says Beware Of Dog, as it shows that you know the dog is aggressive, and you can be easily sued..
Here is a nice one> http://cgi.ebay.com/Security-Dog-On-Duty-Home-Yard-Caution-Warning-Sign_W0QQitemZ150044233547QQihZ005QQcategoryZ1283QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
But, you can get others at all pet supply shops..
the very safest sign, to avoid any civil suit, is to have a sign that says..Do Not Enter...with a profile of a dog on it..

If you do this, you are admitting liability for any injury your dogs may cause to people who enter your property. Such signs do not mean you are not obliged to keep your dogs under proper control.

Maybe your local pet shop can help, or buy a piece of weatherproof marine plywood, some paint and a brush, and you can make your own.

Legally, dont get "Beware of Dog" sign. You are stating the dogs are vicious (even if they arent) and if someone gets bitten you may just get sued.
Get a sign that says "Dogs on Premises"
The signs are available at hardware shops, petshops, some vets ...

In the UK most good pet shops stock them...have you tried Pets at Home? If not try a local pet shop...most places do stock them now.

if you put a warning on your property about your dogs, you are admitting you have dangerous animals on the premises, sounds daft, but its true, my advice is dont put a sign up, then you are covered, if your dog bites some one when u have a sign up then you are admitting you know the animals are dangerous
