i have a black and white shuhtzu and went i take her out she come in dirty she has white legs i need to know of some good shampoo doggie whitener and i bathe her really well but she smells sour it just started its not her teeth they are very clean and she eats breath busters.

Does the entire body smell? Or does it seem to be concentrated at one point ( such as the face)? I have a shihtzu too, and he used to come in like a dirtball all the time. Be careful not to bath her too much, as you will dry out and irritate the skin. You can use non-medicated baby wipes to clean the dogs coat and face. This is particularly good for areas around the nose, mouth, eyes, and other more wrinkled areas that catch dirt. You might also want to pick up a bottle of dog spray at the pet store. They sell sprays that deodorize and give a pleasant smell.

You could probably just clean her legs every day instead of her whole body. Hartz makes a blue shampoo for white dogs - it brightens the white. However, any dog shampoo, except the puppy kind, will burn their eyes. You need to be very careful. I have a Maltese and use the blue shampoo on him, but avoid getting it anywhere near his little eyes. Shih-Tzu's are sooo cute. I have a Shih-Tzu mix named Suzy Q who is black and white. Oooooh, how I love my dogs!! :-)

Oh, such a very lucky dog to have a caring master :) Just use the ordinary shampoo as long as it will keep the dog clean and healthy.

A sour smell can indicate any number of problems, from a rotten tooth to kidney problems (if its her breath that smells bad), a skin disorder or even blocked anal glands. If bathing doesn't help ask your Vet to check.

They have whitening shampoo generally blue in color. This stuff works really well.
