Our bodies are the temple of the Lord, right? I've worked very hard to keep my temple in the best shape possible. As long as the "giblets" are covered and there is no full frontal nudity, is there really anything wrong with showing it off for the glory of God?

The Lord would be proud of you, son. Continue to proudly display his fine work and create a temple so that all may worship at your altar. To fully show God your thanks, you should show up to Church wearing that thong. Glory be!

That is called self pride, not Gods Glory, he already knows what you have and what you don't, sure he care less at this point, he is not paying any attention to you.
Your too much into your self, then God,
God said that is a sin, to think more of yourself then God.
so your already sinning, so makes no difference,
you die without the blood over you,
you die the eternity death,
and the physical, one well that too.

I see nothing wrong with it. As you said you keep your "privates" covered. You worked very hard on developing your physique. Why hide an achievement you strove so hard to attain. Let your physique be an inspiration for other men to realize a fit body is attainable. A lot of men will follow your lead to a more aesthetic appearance and healthier lifestyle.

All things in moderation, sayeth the Lord. The excessive amount of time you spend sculpting your temple would be better used if you focused instead of maintaing good basic physical and mental health and used to extra time to read to the blind, help Habitat for Humanity, volunteer at the Children's Hospital, etc.

Tomorrow, instead of asking your good buddy to spot you at the gym while you get ripped, maybe you should ask him if he is free to do some good deeds.

I don't know if you're serious or not, but I don't see anything wrong with showing people your body. You worked hard to get it. Plus, you'll get hotter women. Women like the muscles as I'm sure you know. Natural selection in action.

Since you are in the religion section, I will assume that you are looking for a correct answer.
Here you go.
1 John 2

15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16For all that is in the world, the lust of the FLESH , and the lust of the eyes, and the PRIDE of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The outer body of the man in the picture is great. However,
considering the number of questions you have asked, in this same area, I am inclined to think you have brown eyes.

There's place and time.
I live in a conservative country, where people still consider excessive body explosure not that acceptable.Surely ,you don;t want to show off your body at working place or simply any serious occasions.Pick up the right place and time, and let it all hang out.LOL.

Your 'pride' in the way you look is a sin. Keep your 'temple' in shape, but don't worry about what others think about it.
