If you like the idea of using the Internet for FREE (yes, FREE, no money down), there are three places I can recommend:
1) the public library
2) the MTR stations
3) some hotels, such as the Intercontinental
All these places have computers that are free for public use.

There is a nice and cheap one on Nathan road near Yau Ma Tei station, just around the corner from the Hampton hotel
