It is directly related to your faith.

Idolatory is a sin against God.

Polygamy is a sin against another human -- to be precise ur better -half. initially it was allowed by religion so that it would help widows to have rights like that of widowers -- TO REMARRY and start a new life. but with time, it meaning and purpose was twisted and altered.

Idolatry wastes time, polygamy at least serves a purpose towards survival

Polygamy was a practice in ancient times because women died frequently during child birth. With the knowledge that one man can impregnate 100 women, you only take as many wives as you can support, 2000+ years ago, people had more to worry about than having sex for recreational purposes

You should paste " women only" for your question. otherwise all men will answer Idolatory is worse because they like to get as many wives as they can until the day they die. (not even until the day they very very old).

Idolatry is worse as it breaks the commandment to Love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind & soul.

In my understanding polygamy is "idolatry". immorality is idolatry so is covetousness.... so they are both abominable to God.

Idolatry doesn't only apply to having other gods... In the NT it has a wide coverage.

If you put anything first before God, whether money or having pleasurable desires, or if u put yourself first....or anything before God being the top priority is idolatous practice.

Idolotry is a sin against god.

Polygamy is theoretically a sin against man. but I'm not even confident its really even a sin, but merely a "you'd have to be insane to have more than 1 spouse"

Idolatry because it is a worship of a false and man-man entity or entities.
