Think about it. God sent us on the earth. 7 billion people. All other lifes and creatures. Take a look at the sky. Planets, millions of stars, milkyways and so on. No life anywhere else. Only this earth. Nowhere else is even least suitable to live. Oh please don't tell me about aliens and UFOs. They are just imaginations.

Is there any teaching behind this?

I agree we might know a little about the universe. But it really amazes me that scientists scrutinized some stars thousands of LIGHTYEARS away! In such long distance, no life at all.

It's the arrogance and narrow mindedness of humankind that makes us assume that we are alone in the universe. Just because another planets atmostphere or terrain makes it impossible to sustain human life, it doesn't necessarily mean that it couldn't support any life at all.
There are millions of galaxies, solar systems and planets out there, but the nearest ones would take thousands of years for just a signal to travel as far as our world, so who's to say that there isn't a sign on the way as we speak?
Finally, there have been hundreds of reported and confirmed UFO sightings, how could you possibly write them all off as imaginations? There have been cases of US airforce pilots seeing unexplained lights and objects in the sky, and these are men who are still flying the most expensive planes in the world. If they were just 'imagining' things, the surely their careers would have been over the minute they had mentioned anything.

And when you look out into your own backyard you see trees and grass. Do you see all of the minute things taking place on the trees and in and under the grass. It may well be the same thing with planets and universes. How do we know this is the only universe? How do we know what God put on any other planets. Why would you limit His Ability to create a life form that could withstand the conditions on any of His planets. If He had limitations then He would not be God.

Statistically speaking....the odds are that there is no god. However, life somewhere in the universe is very likely considering that space is virtually infinite and so are the number of galaxies which = endless suns and planets.
The problem is finding other life since the nearest solar systems are thousands of light years away.....we don't have the technology to reach them.

Humans aren't smart enough to know these things yet, we don't even know much about the world we live on.

We are just now able to see very large planets around other suns, maybe in a 100 years we'll be able to detect if the conditions on these planets could sustain life or not.

no one knows if there is life on other planets. the universe is infinite. that means it never ends. are you saying that we are the only possible life in the never-ending universe? wouldnt the theory that there is an infinite number of worlds where beings live life be just as reasonable as your theory that we are alone?

the fact that our scientists cant make contact does not mean that they dont exist, it could mean that we dont have the technology to contact them.

Well, I've always thought it was illogical to assume that life existed nowhere else in the universe if we've only explored a minute part of said universe.

Because this universe is just made for use to look at. We are the center of "our" universe, so why do you care for what is beyond that? Why do you care what is your neighbor is cooking today if you are going to eat "only" what you are cooking? In other words we don't have to care, the other plantets of far galaxies are just for us to gaze at, we have enought problems to face here on earth.

A few thousand years ago, each of several civilizations thought they were alone on Earth, and that their gods had chosen them alone to rule. They were all conquered after that.
