Only you can decide that. I'd wait for a bit myself. You don't really have the full measure of a person till you've seen them in person. It's likely all will be well, but sometimes remote contact can generate fantasy. There's nothing inherently wrong with doing so, but it all depends on how you BOTH feel. Love and sex can be two different things to some people. I'd address that before making the Go/nogo decision on lovemaking. In short, make sure you're both on the same page as to the meaning of it.

If you think he is the one for you, is he right enough to marry? This will sound very old fashioned to some, but the fact is that it is a much better thing all around when people who love each other love each other enough to wait until they are married to have sex. It's not religious or prudish -- it's the way relationships are designed to be, and how they work best.

if ever possible.. hold out till marriage but you're worth the wait... and trust me... sex would feel HUNDREDS of times better if you are married rather then w/ someone you're meetin for the first time this is 1 of those situations where if you're not a sexual person... and you believe in purity... you should start now BEFORE havin sex and decidin to stop later... it never works that way

but i guess if you're not into the whole purity deal then... don't plan on making love... do it when the moment gravitates you to him and your body aches for it and you mind says its okay and your heart whispers the words "yes.. he's the 1...." don't do it... juss for the sake of doin it... thatz not called MAKIN LOVE thats called plain o' SEX

I would take it slow and just get to know one another. You mentioned meeting his friends and some relatives. Was that also online? You might be in for a rude shock when you meet him personally and maybe his friends and relatives aren't all they should be. Caution is the watchword.

You wanna do it with him? Or else ask him to rape you and you'll feel very good. For me i think making love is the few last things to do in a relationship... Only when the time comes then u do it with him...cause i bet he wans to do it with you too, but shy to say!~

making love is something that in love people do. you've been dating him for a year and not sleeping with anyone else yet you don't know if you love him enough to make love to him. You probably should not since you have to ask.

You'll be ready when you don't have to come on sites to ask the community their opinions. Btw, unless your having sexual intercourse for a child, use a condom.
