What are a girls motivations for hanging up on you during a fight but expecting you to call them back?

I'm starting to wonder if she just hates me.

So apparently so far it's either an immature way to control me or a way to see if I care.... Two extremes to choose from which I've already considered. Both seem equally realistic and both are things I've already thought of. I just want to know if girls will want a guy more if he's chasing or if she's chasing him.

Dont play stupid games with girls. Dont call her, let her call and say sorry if she hung up on you in the first place! She sounds immature, cut your losses. Theres plenty more fish in the sea dude, go find someone who is easier to go out with :)

Its not that she hates u. Its normal coz as a girl, a girl heart tends 2 get hurt very easily n jealous. Hanging up on u is 2 avoid a worse situation like breaking up. 2 expect u 2 call her is to show u still care 4 her. She'll hang up on you because she was sincerely angry or insulted at what you may have said or suggested. Deep down she'll hope you call her back after you've seen the error of your ways (she hopes).

She needs to know that you really do care. If you don't call her back, then she can begin to write you off and possibly begin to move on with her life. :-)

She hangs up on you because she is frustrated. She feels you are not listening to what she has to say. She is hoping you will sit and think about what she has said. There's no point in her phoning you back, because she doesn't know how long it will take you to calm down and think logically. She's expecting you to call her back when you are able to talk sensibly and not yell at her.

i've always wanted to do this....in my mind if i hang up and i'm upset and then the guy calls back, it shows me that he wants to work on whatever is bothering me or try to cheer me up or something. i think it's just reassuring the girl that you are there for her no matter what. unless she's a biotch..then don;t call her back.

she is good at pushing your buttons, it is all a game to control you.....if you do not like her game and controlling you then tell her the next time she hangs up on you, that you will not stand for it anymore, [stick to this ]and tell her you will wait for her to call and say i am sorry for hanging up and being rude.... if she is angry the right way is to say i can not talk anymore right now, i am going to get off the phone and cool off and i will call you later. this is showing respect and you deserve respect...if she wants respect from you, she needs to give respect to you also......

Never, EVER, start to question or even become curious about girls motivations for anything. You never want to travel down that dark path, my friend. That's like asking Michael Myers or Jason Vorhees what their 'motivation' is for killing; don't bother, just run like hell.
