If your grandmother is anything like mine, they don't really need anything, lol. However, when i buy a present for my grandmother,i purchase gift cards, like to a drug store to help her out with her medicines,or i go to her heating source and pay an amount on her fuel oil to help her out in that way too, they just give her the credit when they deliver to her.Or one to go to the grocery. She really does like it much better than, clothes,or (what knots)etc..I am sure no matter what you get her she will love it knowing it came from you.Have a safe trip and enjoy your grandmother.

something nice - whats' your budget? If I still had my Gran, I would buy her some pearls, or a really nice bubble bath, or a silk scarf, or quality slippers and gown, or framed photos of her family - and take her out for a meal, or have her favourite take away after a nice day out in the park or something gentle like that

A fantastic idea for any Grandparent is a photo calendar. There are several online companies where you can upload your own family photos to relevant month pages & add comments for specific dates each month. My parents love seeing all their Granchildren every month!

If she's a boomer, whatever you do don't buy her traditional grandma gifts. They really resent that.
By her a thong maybe. They say 80 is the new 30.

My Grammy is 84. I got her a white rose and perfume for her last birthday and she was delighted. I guess it's cool to know others still see a woman in you even when you are that old :)

whatever to make she think that she is cared specially.
One day my young sister gave her a ring and she said in tenderest voice: 'my dear grandmother,i want to buy a lot of gifts for you,but i dont know how,i only buy for you the ring, please hang it on you hang'.And my grandmother all day laughted and told to everybody about it.
