I want to try the fibre one diet but I cannot get the fibre one cereal. Can I substitute this cereal with another cereal, may be kelloggs high fibre cereal or will it not work if I eat some other cereal? Suggestions welcome

Wow...sorry you can't get Fiber One in your area. I found comparions on the following site, but doesn't show sugar content:

yeah duh
fiber one is all about fiber content - both soluble and insoluble
Fiber one has 60 calories per serving of half cup though
while the kelloggs ones are 80.
And the texture is TOTALLY different.
Fiber one is puffier and slightly smoother
Kelloggs all-bran is kind of, rigid, stiff, darker, and more "grainy" in the mouth.
I like the taste of kelloggs more
but fiber one is sugar free and lower in caloreis which is all that matters. So i skip taste all the time for lower calories.

Try Kashi GoLean. They sell it at most health food stores, and grocery stores like Von's and Stater Bros. It tastes great! You can also try Nature's Path cereals. They taste good and are high in fiber as well. I suggest the Optimum Slim. You can also purchase this brand at Vons and most health food stores. If all else fails, you can buy it online from the manufacturer's directly, or go to http://www.drugstore.com Good luck finding your cereal!!

You can substitute it with Kelloggs All-Bran Hi-Fibre or rolled oats.
