Equatorial Guinea is the only country in Africa whose official language is Spanish. All spanish-speaking countries in the world are considered hispanic countries. But what about this country. It has some cultural similarities to the other hispanic countries.

No, Equitorial Guinea does not qualify as being a Hispanic nation.

Especially since it's official language is French, not Spanish.

Spanish speaking people are considered Hispanic. The nation actually has three official languages -Spanish, French, and Portuguese. But the majority speak Spanish as the country was colonized by Spaniards until the late 60s I believe.

And all Latinos aren't Hispanic. For example, Brazil. It is a South American country but they speak Portuguese, not Spanish.

So a short answer, yes they can be called Hispanic.

Nope. they are only considered Spanish talking. Hispanics are the community American-White (Mestizo) combination. A White or Black Spanish talking isn't considered Hispanic yet ban be considered Latino.
