I know for myself, My 1st girl friend ,I stilled have called her many many years later and we have just talked as friends. The 1st woman I evr asked to marry me broke it off a few months later she said because she had said yes for the wrong resons(To get out of her parents, to have more freedom, etc etc. but for many years we still always talked. Even after she got pregnant by this jerk, we still always talked and did things together.it wasn't until she got married many years later that we pretty much stopped talking or seeing each other completely. now we may talk once every couple years or so but we finally got on with our lives without each other. Yeah we both did and do still always care about the other etc but it is hard when you break up with someone not to call and talk to them. eventually(also depending on her) those feelings to call her etc will fade away. If you can still stay friends,(even though it may take awhile after the break up to be able to do that) then that is always good, but you just have to tell yourself that it's over and force yourself to not call her at least for a few months or so and then if you still feel like it, just call and see how she's doing or whatever. I guiess just face the fact now that she doens't want you to call her again now, but if in a few months you still feel the need to, maybe she will have calmed down and be willing to talk at least as friends once in awhile? You never know but you would have alot better chance to talk to her then if you give it time than you ever will anytime in the near future if she has told you to never call her again recently. That is my advise. It has worked for me with alot of ex GF's that I am now friends with and talk to once in awhile if I even know how or where to reach them anymore?

Dude, because you still have feelings for her.
I don't know who initiated the break up, but you say that you had other break ups with her.
I'll bet you guys will be back together again soon.

it's because it's so routine to you... you always get back after a break-up so therefore you assume this is just like anyother time so you keep calling....and... there's still that lingering feeling left from the relationship... obviously this girl means a lot to you that you keep coming back to her everytime its over... but i think it's time you should let go... it's over and she's ready to move on... let her go... you should move on to for something better and more worth it

You are still thinking about her, probably you care more about her then you knew. If you still like her, try to get her back otherwise it's best to move on..

maybe there is something that you want that you realize after making her your ex that you want to have that you have'nt had yet! too bad i think it's too late now unless you try to start all over again and begin from point A once more!!! GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

A breakup can shake your self-esteem. If yours has taken a hit,
that might be why you still call her.
