after taking the last test i started what feels and looks like my period. could i be having a miscarriage?

Why don't you use your head and go see a doctor instead of asking this on here?
Why does anyone ask questions that could possibly be related to serious conditions... jesus, just go to the doctor and let him tell you, not a bunch of kids on Yahoo answers who don't know crap about medical conditions.

Maybe the first one was a false positive.... that's probably what happened. I don't know, but I think you would notice if it was a miscarriage. How long did you wait between taking the first test and the second test? If it was in the same day or very close together, then that first test was probably wrong.
You really should go see a doctor.
