Wicca is not a HE, it's a Religion.

Wicca is a Neopagan religion and a religious movement found in many different countries. It was first publicised in 1954 by a British civil servant named Gerald Gardner[1] after the British Witchcraft Act was repealed. He claimed that the religion, of which he was an initiate, was a modern survival of an old witch cult, which had existed in secret for hundreds of years, originating in the pre-Christian Paganism of Europe. Wicca is thus sometimes referred to as the Old Religion. The veracity of Gardner's claims cannot be independently proven, and it is thought that Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s. Various related Wiccan traditions have since evolved, or been adapted from, the form established by Gardner, which came to be called Gardnerian Wicca. These other traditions of Wicca each have specific beliefs, rituals, and practices. Most traditions of Wicca remain secretive and require that members be initiated. There is also a movement of Eclectic or Solitary Wiccans who claim to belong to the religious movement, but do not believe any doctrine or traditional initiation is necessary in order to substantiate the claim.

Wicca is a religion, not a person. Despite previous comments, Wicca is not Witchcraft. Not all Wiccans are Witches, nor are all Witches Wiccans. Witchcraft is an art, a craft. Wicca is a religion put together by Gerald Gardner sometime in the 40's. He did not invent it out of thin air, but merged several other paths and faiths, including some works from Crowley, who himself was not a Witch, but a self proclaimed Occultist Magician.

Quite simply Wicca is a sect of Paganism, just like say, Protestants are a sect of Christianity. All Wiccans are Pagan, but not all Pagans are Wiccan.

Wicca as we know it is a relatively new religion and takes it's beliefs from Pagan rituals and pre-Christianity knowledge of the Earth. Like all Pagans, Wicca believes in living in harmony and with the natural flow of the earth. It is a gentle religion that promotes tolerance and responsibility for your own actions. Wicca believes the natural laws of energy and Kharma where every action has an equal reation. Good begets good. Bad begets bad. There is no repenting. You reap what you sow, good or bad.

Wiica isnt a who. Wicca is a what. Its a pagan path of religion. Wicca benefits the people on its path because no wars have ever been fought in the name of wicca or the Goddess. There are no trials and tribulations that you MUST suffer thru other that to straighten out your own karma. There are no devils, there are no demons. There is you and what you can and will do wrong, but so long as you dont do things to hurt others on purpose or just bacause you can, or because of their religion then you are ok. Wicca benefits us because it is an earth based religion. Nature is at its core. To protect and to heal the earth and to use what she offers with understanding and not abuse is what we are taught. To work with others in chant and prayer, to be one with the world, the wind, the wild animals, the domestic beast, the sea, the sky. She is a loving Goddess that rules Wicca, and her Consort is a just man. They view life as a blessing and a gift. They walk with the changing seasons. They are one with the changing tides. We dont go out and beat people up to make them convert to our Gods path. We dont yell at them and tell them that they will burn in the christian hell if they dont follow YHWH's path. We dont cause or start world domination techniques to make the masses follow us. We are who we are. We always have been. We will always be.

Wicca is not a he. It's the name of a religion which has many different traditions, much like Christianity has denominations. As for you gaining any benefit from it, you would have to look into that yourself. Each of us find something different that has been beneficial to us, even in the same religion or any group for that matter.

Not who but what is Wicca.
It is also called Paganism and Witchcraft. which are older religions than the Jewish one of which Christianity is a sect of.
Basically it is a nature based Religion which the Jewish people recognized as they have rules to follow if they need to stop at ones house over night. Pagans are also farmers and headsmen that live to far for a town to go their every seven days to pray to the local God . And made their own religion using the things that the use in everyday life. the Sun,The moon, Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. The stars that guide them in their travels.
