First of all, it's Ghosts, not goasts...

Secondly, if you are having fun, who cares what your father and his idiotic religion thinks? Do whatever you like and live life how you want to, don't let them tell you how to do everything like they want to do. Be your own person.

As far as ghost hunting, one does not need to believe in god in order to believe in ghosts. Ghosts can simply be excess energy left over from when a person dies, or any number of phenomena. It is not always something to do with religion.

If you ever happen to get to Michigan, head up to marquette... there is an abandoned orphanage right in the middle of the city, you can't miss it as it's right off the main road. You want to be convinced there are such things as ghosts? Go in there for a few hours... thats all I will say about it.

There's nothing wrong with it. There's no such thing as ghosts, and if the christian god really is a loving god, then he's not going to punish you for playing around at night with your friends.

Yes, you should stop it, because it's mostly a waste of your time. There are plenty of more entertaining or productive things that you can do with your friends.

No, you won't become possessed. You might go a little crazy, but that's just because you're convincing yourself that wierd stuff is happening.
If you turn a critical eye towards your activities, you'll find that anything "wierd" is more a result of your attitude towards the situation, and is not a result of anything wierd actually happening.

Your father has antiquated beliefs, and he's probably at or past the age wherein his mindset is unlikely to change. He undoubtedly loves you, and he's probably a nice guy, but there isn't much more he can teach you about the world. Keep up with your education, and embrace your ability to think for yourself.

Biblically speaking ghosts are nothing but demons who are trying to decieve you away from believing the Bible. Though ghosts whould come up to you as your long-dead relatives still it is still a demon. The Bible says in Hebrew 9:27 "as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement". Souls of men doesnt have the ability to roam the earth after they die...they go immediately to heaven or hell for judgement(as what i had stated a while ago in the Bible verse). Remember that Satan is the father of lies, so dont believe everything you see or hear(just believe what the Bible says).
I really dont fully agree with your father that ghost-hunting is anti-christ like...i think your just curious about it. But if you believe what i had told you according to the Bible i believe this is enough to satisfy your curiousity about ghosts.
You wont get possesed only if you repent of your sins and accept Christ as your personal saviour. Because by doing this Christ will come to live in your heart through the Holy Spirit and there's no way that evil spirits, who possess men,can ever harm you or even posses you...(1john4:4 ...because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world)

If you simplest will take delivery of lies, then why hassle to invite the query? I learn your query now you'll be able to learn my reply. The don't exist. There are 4 forms of vampire. Three sorts are truly, and one is fictional. The fictional variety of vampire is the Count Dracula kind popularized via folks stories, books, fable magazines and films. This variety is meant to be a reanimated corpse of anyone who has earlier been bitten via a vampire. Which begs the query, in which did the primary vampire come from? In older folks stories, a vampire was once anyone who had lived an excessively depraved lifestyles, and was once cursed for their evil deeds via being sure to the grave, and pressured to wander the earth in seek of clean blood -- on this approach a vampire might be created with no need first been bitten via yet another vampire. A up to date variant at the delusion is that a vampire can simplest be created if the character bitten additionally beverages the blood of the vampire. This turns out to don't have any ancient groundwork in folks stories. L8r

My personal opinion... Demons are not real. Ghosts? Who knows, but if they are in any way then they are just people. And maybe some were just jerks in life and they are still jerks now in death. If they are real, I think THEY (the jerks) are the so-called "demons." And I do not believe in possession whatsoever.

I mean, I'm not even a god believer, and I guess without that "protection," and I've never been possessed or anything...I think "possession" is more often mental illness.

Remember most of getting spooked is largely probably in people's heads and can be fun. But I think you should still respect your dads wishes, or fears, if he really gets too freaked out over it.

(And please, before you graduate, learn how to spell or how to use the spell check function.)

1) theres no A in Ghost...

2) the bible does have a line thats generally translated as saying you shouldn't seek ghosts and such, but IMO that doesn't apply to what your talking about, but I think those rules have certain implied exceptions that are not undestood by the normal tanslations.

probably no real risk, as that sorta stuff is generally relatively harmless.

but I'd suggest to not do anything with Ouiji boards or anything, THOSE can be dangerous.

Me and my husband were just talking about this tonight! Freak me green!
My sister, two brothers and a bunch of neighborhood kids decided to dare each other to go into the graveyard, walk (not run) at midnight, to the statue at the end of the road and kiss its feet, then walk (not run) back.
I don't think my parents ever found out.
My husband went at night to the same graveyard, and he said he felt really creepy going down that road to the statue (I think it was an angel with spread wings, or a crucifix, can't remember)

My experience with this is limited.. but.. here goes.. It seems to me if a person "dabbles" with this kinda stuff it opens doors for "weird" things to go on. Lived with this gal once who was some kinda... I don't know.. witch I guess (didn't stay around long) and there were very strange things happening. Felt presence of spirits or something. and saw some stuff to. Anyway if a person just leaves it alone. it will leave you alone. If you summon it or mess with it.. it will make it self "there".. I have a daughter your age.. and I agree with your dad..

There's no such thing as ghosts, but it does go against your religion if you are Christian. You are only 15, you should be obeying your father.
