I don't believe in the literal, biblical Satan, but evil is a far more personal vice. Everyone is capable of evil, not just nations.

when rats are becoming over-populated and confined to a small space, they start eating each other. We are all in this world together, but we are sharing a big burden. Every so often, even the human population becomes dessimated to make room for more, but with the great health care system now, more people than ever are living longer and the critical mass is going to come very quickly. Usually a natural disaster will take care of that problem, but if it doesn't, then war happens. You may say a person called Satan does this, I don't know. It doesn't really make sense any other way. Will there ever be true peace?

May be Satan could be the multiheaded things such as the thrigunas, Satvic, Rajasic and Thamasic or the six foes such as desire, anger, greed, dreams, ego and competition who makes us all believe that the world felt by the senses is Absolutely Real and makes us dwell in it so deep and forget the Omnipotence of God. Hindu Scriptures talk of a special way to overcome these kinds of multiheaded attacks, ie by mixing God in all those Satanic Acts. Bring love in all those acts. Orient all the acts towards the Ultimate Divinity. Without the reduction of Ego (remeber the Cross, may symolising cutting the Worldly I ) and orienting the egotistic I to the Fundamental I , may be its very difficult to get past these illusions the "Prakrithi" presents before ... so Divinise even the Demons. Love Prakrithi also as an Art work of God.... probably "Ekam Sath, Viprath Bahuda Vadanyhi" , The Truth is only One and Different Scholars interpret THAT differently ....

There is not an "if",actually satans are near in all humans and in all nations.There are so many satans or iblis in this earth,because they are married and have children and no death .They all will go to hell after the resurrection day..Their works are only tempting humans to do wrong doings and hate or have war each other among ethnics,races and nations.They will stop their temptation when the world collapsed.Only human who has the strong faith can not be tempted by satans.

Santa is in all nations, he flys down chimneys and delivers toys every December 24th. I don't think Santa has ever started a war.
I don't know about marks of the beast, Rudolph was a red nosed reindeer though

I'm sure he enjoys the show, I don't think he cares about the killing though but the hatred behind it. Satan's sole purpose is to make God look bad by pulling us to him and away from God. Hate, deceit, murder and such is about as far from God as one can get.
But even is the middle of war there is love and care toward one another by saving each other from death at the cost of ones own life that shows that God is there too.

Satanists worship God because they believe Satan is God, but who is the fire and brimestone but the consequences of karma, their own effects to their own causes. Why care about the mundane when we can experience of the bliss of consciousness and the firm but caring belief in the one true God.
