There are more beauty treatments available for reducing pimples and to keep skin glowing. Other than medical prescriptions, there are few you can try at home:

You can clean your skin with apple cider vinegar as home pimple remedy. Another home pimple remedy consists of cleaning your skin with lemon juice. This will slightly give a burning sensation but clears all the dirt present. Rubbing Garlic cloves will also helps a lot in this regard.

You can apply aloevera juice regularly on your face to make it glow and to be free from scars. Fruit face packs will do a lot of difference.

To avoid it permanently, drink more water, avoid taking more fried items. Consume more fruits and fibrous greeny vegetables which will makes your skin glow.

It really depends on the cause of your pimples. If it is not caused by food allergies or medication, then you can do these simple steps: wash face preferably with kojic acid soap, pat dry, apply benzoyl peroxide (brand name: benzac) on affected areas only, and sunblock. You may also use clindamycin cream before you put on the benzoyl. Regularly visit your dermatologist for cleaning, extracting comedones and pricking of pimples/ pimple surgery. Don't overwash your face, wash only twice a day, and apply small amounts of BP. Increasing the amounts won't heal the pimples faster, but will instead clog the pores, and makes matters worse. Get enough sleep, regulate intake of oily foods/peanuts/chocolates, and de-stress.

Doctors usually recommend an OTC or prescription topical medication for people with mild signs of acne. Topical medicine is applied directly to the acne lesions or to the entire area of affected skin.

Benzoyl peroxide, resorcinol, salicylic acid, and sulfur are the most common topical OTC medicines used to treat acne. Each works a little differently. Benzoyl peroxide is best at killing P. acnes and may reduce oil production. Resorcinol, salicylic acid, and sulfur help break down blackheads and whiteheads. Salicylic acid also helps cut down the shedding of cells lining the follicles of the oil glands. Topical OTC medications are available in many forms, such as gel, lotion, cream, soap, or pad.

In some patients, OTC acne medicines may cause side effects such as skin irritation, burning, or redness. Some people find that the side effects lessen or go away with continued use of the medicine. Severe or prolonged side effects should be reported to the doctor.

OTC topical medicines are somewhat effective in treating acne when used regularly. Patients must keep in mind that it can take 8 weeks or more before they notice their skin looks and feels better.

Do see a doctor for precise medication.
take care!!

Look under A acne. Lots of good interesting info, especially about diet. Haven't tried these, stay away from the over the counter stuff, really doesn't work. My daughter tried that ProActiv, she said it only worked for a short time though. Prescriptions are good and seemed to work the best, but it's a long term antibiotic, and that's not really healthy either.

Get a prescription for pimple cream or something and then to prevent again, clean your face everyday, thoroughly.
