ALL SONS OF ABRAHAM WERE BLESSED AND WILL BE BLESSED

Ishmael Gen.16:15,16; Isaac Gen.21:5; Gen.25:1-9 [ Isaac age 75, Ishmael 89 buried father Abraham who had 6 sons by Keturah, Abraham is son #20 in the genealogy of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who is #62, after Adam in world from Eden ];

Gen.25:12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son,
whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:
Gen.25:13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael,
by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of
Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam, Gen.25:14 And
Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,Gen.25:15 Hadar, and Tema, Jetur,
Naphish, and Kedemah: Gen.25:16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and
these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles;
twelve princes according to their nations. Gen.25:17 And these are
the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years:
and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.
Gen.25:18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt,
as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.
Isaac son of Sarah, and 6 sons by Keturah.
Consider below where Ishmael was located.
Gen.2:10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden;
and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
Gen.2:11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which
compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
Gen.2:12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium
and the onyx stone. Gen.2:13 And the name of the second river
is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
Gen.2:14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel:
that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria.
And the fourth river is Euphrates.
Life of Ishmael 2094 + 19 = 2113 + 118 = 2231 after Adam.

Isaac 2108 + 180 = 2288 after Adam and his family Jacob and sons in Egypt 2298 + 215 to 2513 + 40 to 2553 and in the PROMISED LAND 1Ki.6:1 480 to Solomon and 36 years to his death 3069, after Adam and 997 before Christ.

Heb.2:9,14,16 Christ Jesus the seed of Abraham to bless all. Matt.1:1-17;
Noah #10 in genealogy of Jesus, Abraham #20 and Jesus #62. Year 33 crucified.
Heb.9:14-16;
Jesus will destroy the devil who caused death the enemy, and will destroy
death the enemy 1Cor.15:22-28, 51-53 [ Some see new heavens while the
rest are for the new earth and all made as perfect as it was before Eden.
All will be resurrected to see God's love and Mercy. Any lost will self-destruct.

yes, both were blessed, just differently.

I belive it makes a specific point that god didn't entirely abandon Hagar and Ishmael.

I think people also(I know I used to...) confuse Ishmael and Isacc with Jacob and Esau, which is a more logical more agressive brotherly rivalry.

YES GENESIS 17:20TALKS ABOUT THE MANY BLESSING OF ISHMAEL.
THEN IN VERSE 21:THE COVENANT WITH ISAAC.
IT IS SAD THE STORY OF HOW ABRAM HAD SEX WITH HAGAR,THEN TOSSED HER AWAY.
SARA WAS SO MEAN TO HER.TO BEAT HER,WHEN SHE DID NO WRONG.
BUT NO MATTER THE PROMISE IS BLESSINGS TO BOTH SONS .
THE PROMISED ONE ,JESUS CAME FROM THE LINE OF ISAAC.
