Nah.
Bush The Lesser only picks fights with countries he knows won't fight back.
With the North Koreans having nukes (WMDs, you know, like Iraq never had, right Bush?) and South Korea's capital situated so close to the North Korean border that the Pyongyang government could almost THROW a nuke and wipe out Seoul, even Little Georgie Warmonger doesn't dare strike at North Korea.
Yet another foreign policy triumph of the Bush Administration.
But with Republicans down in the polls and dropping like a page's pants in Mark Foley's bedroom, expect a patented Karl Rove October Surprise, a little something to take our eyes off the ball. For instance, I wouldn't rule out a strike against Iran.
Remember, before the last mid-term election, Republicans were looking bad in the polls (Enron, corruption, etc). All of a sudden, Saddam became The Biggest Threat To The Civilised World. Presto! Enron's forgotten and the Republicans win the mid-terms. Think I'm kidding? Check your history.
Rove and the rest of his ilk obviously believe that we're dumb enough to fall for that bullsh!t again.
I hope we're not.

it quite is not basically the US yet, you're asking a valid question. First Hiroshima and Nagasaki the place an totally diverse subject. Truman had to choose on whether to forfeit one hundred's of hundreds of lives (US & Japan) which might have occured if we had hit the seashores of Japan with nicely-known weapons in the process the suited around. As you may or will possibly no longer bear in mind, Japan replaced into unlikely to provide up it quite is combat for the Emporer and resign replaced into no longer an selection. next, Kim unwell Jong is a maniac. China and Russia does not be condeming this attempt in the event that they did no longer already understand this to be real. So, we develop into the undesirable adult men back by those that are questioning we are hypocrites. by how, jointly as all it truly is occurring Hugo is in England telling any guy or woman who will pay attention that we'd prefer to start a conflict with Iran. Being hypocritical feels like it may be the lesser of the evils if lots different crap wasn't occurring.

we won't start a war, but that is not to say that N. Korea won't do something foolish when they are hemmed in and begin to sweat. If sanctions are carried out properly and China is included, then N. Korea will be in worse bind than they are in now. No food. No oil. No other needed goods. No copper or other metals to make guns and bullets. They will be in deep s**t. This can only happen if the world stands behind a sanction.

None.
It's not a direct action. Look for more "sanctions" and "warnings" from the UN.
The US is busy and this doesn't warrant immediate attention just yet. Japan, China, and South Korea have much at stake here. Any involvement will be left to them. If they go, the US will assist.
[The statement that we have no troops to spare is moronic. Research it. Over 1.4 million active duty military and the 140,000 or so in Iraq is going to break us? Pfft...]

Nothing is going to happen. Nobody will do anything.
But the Democrats will start blaming this administration for inaction - and had Bush ordered strikes on North Korea, they would have blamed him for taking action.
The UN will officially say "shame on you" and that will be the end of it.

We don't go to war with countries with nukes. That's why N. Korea and Iran were so quick to get on it. We could do to them what we did to Iraq since Bush labeled the three countries the axis of evil.

Nothing is certain, but I don't think that war is highly likely. I think that North Korea is very manipulative and I don't understand exactly what they want. They are cold and scary though.
