Which question are you asking? Can you be a cheerleader, or will the football player like you?
1. I don't know, CAN you be a cheerleader? Are you physically capable of it? Being fat or thin really doesn' matter if you are physically in good condition.
2. Does he like cheerleaders? Has he shown interest in you? I would play it cool there. If he makes some move (as he knows your feelings) be receptive, but don't pine after him. High school will be over before you know it and it won't mean that much to you later on in life.

Wait, you're 11 or 12 years old? What kind of measurements are those above? What is 142?
We have all developed crushes on the popular kid, the jock, the cheerleader. I know girls who are curvy and not fat. Fat to me means obese, and you don't state that, just a bunch of numbers that make no sense.
I would suggest focusing on schoolwork and maintaining good grades and being a good person with some morals. Yeah, sounds boring but you'll be disease-free for it with a good paying job and independent. The men are a dime a dozen honey, and the sooner you learn to appreciate and respect yourself, the better off you'll be.

Why not?? Big Momma 2 was a good cheerleader although "she" was fat!
The problem with a lot of guys is this - they look too much into outer appearance and later realise they're not compatible with girls who are only goodlooking with no brains.
Be yourself - be cute, funny, sincere, be a "sharer" (share your thoughts, views even at the expense of being criticised). And one day the guy you like (even if it turns out to be another guy in the future) would be attracted to you.
For health reasons, it's better to keep to the weight your frame and height is meant for. Not just for looking pretty. Good luck! :)

Honestly, and I am not trying to be rude, but no. But that is just me, some guys like heavier set girls, but most don't. I think you should work on the weight issue, not just for looks or guys, but for your health. you are young and you should be able to crank up your metabolism to burn some of that off. Aim to become the whole package, a great personality and awesome looks. Have your parents take you to a gym and a doctor to help you with a diet plan. Good Luck.

To be honest guys that are on the football team probably wouldn't go out with u because there heads are way to big and there out there to try to impress the other guys even if they like u. they would never admit it. Just wait till afer high school no one really cares anymore. Youll have your day

No one knows you well enough to answer that. However if your over weight you should work on it, get some exercise and eat better.
Then you'll have a lot less confidence problems and be able to get more guys.

start exercising and eating healthy now, because the older you get the more the weight will catch up with you. A guy should like you for who you are though.

Exercise a lot and curb eating.
You will loose weight, gain stamina and be able to cheer lead.
The boy will like you back.
If I was him, I will go out with you, I like chubby girls with good humor.

well...personally i like plus sized women.....but this is a highschool guy..and a jock....I'd love to say he'd love you for who you are and love to date you....but mainstream society in general and teen peer pressure would probably keep him from acting on any feelings he could ahve for you. Hate to sound gloomy....but sadly enough, mainstream society would rather love serial killers than someone overweight....just a personal perception
