it depends on your glass but I would say at least 1 and 1/2 cups are in a standard glass of water.

a liquid measurement of a cup is 8 oz an average glass is 12 oz so using that as the parameter you could conclude that there are one and a half cups in a glass or water.
8 + 4 = 12 oz. the average drinking glass of water.

Use a measuring cup.
Pour one cup of water into the glass at a time.
That should give you the answer.
No one can accurately answer your question, since we have no idea how big this glass is.
