why do you even ask this question, more people are going to give you crap other than answering the question with seriousness. in a recent study done where amsterdam was scale to america drug use was over thirty eight percent less, all because most drugs are legal. our government didnt' nip it in the bud, no pun intended, from the getgo. If they had they coulve taxed it and made more money off of it than they do now from it being illegal.

Oh yes, it would make my job easier but my boss would be pizzed off as well as Uncle Sam because the boss won't make revenue off fines and Uncle sam won't be able to confiscate all that free property. Know what I mean? There's obviously a bigger picture here than you see. Then, if it was legalized, I, being the dirty cop that I am, won't be getting my payoffs from the shipments coming in by turning my head and looking the other way. Get it? There is way more money to be made by keeping it illegal. Forfeitures/ticketing/incarceration/fines, etc......

I was watching cops the other night and they were setting up a drug bust whereby they sold marijuana to people (as undercover) and then arrested them. I couldn't believe how absurd that was. What a waste of time and money. That does absolutely nothing to help protect our streets or make our streets safer. They weren't even going after the dealers, just the people buying it.

it is going to alter into criminal inspite of each and every thing the illegals from south of the border declare that marihuana use is an essential area of their way of life & that that's their perfect . They do know a thank you to enhance the stuff so possibly the u . s . a . could desire to subsidise the growers in Mexico yet distribute it at no value to all of us who makes it around the border so as that we don't dilute their way of life. no longer a "head" the two yet i do remember some very effective 40 5 minute holidays interior the 60s. I digress....i think of it may be criminal or a minimum of decriminalized. chinese language take out & pizza shops might flourish , maximum cancers sufferers could desire to be waiting to hold down their nutrition & get a nights sleep. DUI fatalities might drop dramatically if the terminal velocity of a head on collision have been in easy terms 4 Mph. Politicians might awaken whilst they comprehend the quantity of funds they could generate by skill of taxing the stuff & utilising the money to combat authentic crime or permitting it to be traded on the commodities marketplace. The uptight bastards smoke it in any case to "get it up" ,yet will in no way abandon the ethical sense blurring ,nasty extreme they get from those martinis they suck down. you're perfect no distinction between alcohol & pot (alcohol is a procedures greater risky) interior the sense that as quickly as taxed & criminal. that's now no longer risky . i might easy one if I had one.

Decriminalizing domestic violence would make my job easier - I hate going to those calls - and they always happen at the end of the shift when I want to go home.

So let's just let wife beaters off the hook - along with the potheads - so I can have an easy job!

What are you high now? If we wanted an EASY JOB we would have applied for yours.

Decriminalizing theft and assault-related crimes would make the police job even easier. There's where to start the legalization process.

It probably would. Then they could focus on more dangerous drugs like coke, heroin, E, pill scammers and other serious crime. The Federal Government could really do well if they would distribute and regulate it like alcohol, but I doubt many of us will EVER see that happen. I prefer the idea of someone driving stoned as opposed to drunk..... you are still impaired, but not nearly as risky. And no, I am not condoning either, just stating what is actually true.

Are you stupid? You are just looking to justify smoking pot and scratching your balls so you figure if you made pot legal then when you went to court you wouldn't go to jail. Get real! You have already ruined enough brain cells, quit while your ahead.
