Liking Chubby Girls?

I have a self-consious problem, I guess...
I like chubby girls. I don't really know why, I suppose I have a subconsious attraction to them or something like that. What I mean by "chubby" isn't like "zomg obese", I mean like this: http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/3024/a006820xgmo3.jpg (it is worksafe, I wouldn't be mean)
But I know that this isn't normal for someone to like, and I feel terrible for liking them because I think that people will hate me and think I am a freak, especially my father.
What do i do?

There is nothing wrong with you.

Chubby women have a heart just like everyone else.

Often, they do not come with the attitude that some "pretty" girls have, that think that no one deserves them.

What you should see in a partner is her moral values, her integrity as a human being, her attitude towards life, how she treats you and others.

Will she be a good wife? Will she be a good mother? Can she hold a conversation? Do we have things in common? Is she respectful?

Those are questions that need to be answered.

Whether she's pretty or not, that's irrelevant and superficial, as that can change in an instant, and if not, it will definitely change with time.

Plus, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What you consider beautiful THAT is beautiful. Do not chose a partner to comform the preferences of someone else. Do people come and ask you if you aprove of their partners or not? Then you shouldn't care about what they think either.

Do you have any other problems in life? A person with low self esteem might subconsciously feel they are not worthy to have a g/f that fits the cultural standard of pretty. But if your self esteem was low, it would show up in other areas too.

Is your mother chubby? A lot of us guys are attracted to girls/women that remind us of our mother. I don't see liking chubby girls as a problem, there are a lot of them out there. There a lot of guys who like chubby girls.

Go to a super-market at a busy time. Look at all of the couples in the store, of all ages. You will see very few girls/women that are not chubby and most of them have guys with them or waiting for them at home.

A guy is never too young to learn that it is much more important what a girls character and personality are like, than how they look. Also, a very important thing is how the girl treats you. A girl who looks like a movie star and is crabby and demanding, is not worth dating.

By the way, I think the girl on the website is pretty.

The problem lies not with you, but with society. There is this societal idea of waht kind of a woman we are supposed to be attracted to, and when someone is attracted to someone outside of that idea we find ourselves feeling ashamed, or embarrased for something that we should not have to feel that way about. As for what is normal to like well, medical science and psychology are completely unabel to explain what casuses attraction in the first place, let alone why we are attracted to certain traits. AS fro the reactions of other people, if they can't deal with who you are, then you don't need them anyway. If you like chubby girls then go for it, the only person you ahve to asnwer to is YOU. People that can't deal, THEY have the problem, not you. As for your father, give him a chance, he might surprise you.

You're not a freak for having a preference. There are far worse people out there lurking the Internet fetish sites. In all honesty, you're on the safe side. Society can't always be right...... Maybe skinny isn't as beautiful to you as chubby is.

I don't think that girl is chubby. She looks like she's a normal weight. The media has made bone-skinny normal, and they've made normal weight seem fat. Your taste is fine. You aren't into the aneroxic look-which is in style. You like girls who don't look starved. If anyone ridicules your taste in women, just ignore them. Even if she WAS fat, there's nothing wrong with having tastes that differ from those around you. It's what makes you, You!

It's actually a very normal thought to be attracted to girls that arent skeleton thin. It was and still is human nature to be attracted to curvier (chubby) girls. For example, there was a period of time when it was in to be "rubenesque." Males are supposed to be attracted to these curvier girls because they are more suitable to be mothers and carry babies, and after all it is human instinct to reproduce. It is only because society has been brainwashed into thinking that skinny is beautiful because thats what they've been told for a long time that most men are attracted to thin girls.

God made us in all sizes, shapes, and colors.. There is something for everyone.. Celebrate the fact that you like girls out of the media norm.. I cant stand all this stick thin is in hype... You know hundreds of years ago. Women who were thin were thought of as ill and men tended to go for the more curvy large bottomed women, they were thought of as healthy and the best mothers and cooks.. Still in some african 3rd world countries women with larger assetts are sought after. I myself am a curvy full figured girl.. my mother always told me "more for your man to hold onto".. after all, I dont think any man would want to be boned to death by sharp stabbing hip bones.. haha!... come on that's not a bad thing think about it your going to abort your happiness because a few ignorant people think your a freak. so what if you like chubby girls at least you have somebody they just... jealous and most of them will end up bald and fat anyway

Don't be afraid to express yourself.If you like chubby girls thats nothing wrong with that.Everybody is intitled to their own opinion.I prefer the term bigboned.
