an honest question for christians who say Jesus is also God.?

first ,let me say that I respect you and your beliefs eventhough I disagree with you on some of them. and peace to you all.

As a muslim I believe that only God (Allah or you may call him yahweh and he is laso known by terms like the most beautifull, most powerfull , all-knowing , etc ) is God.

2 questions:

1-dont you belive that he is so much great and perfect in all the respect(beauty, power, knowledge, kindness,love , etc) that he is incomparable with all other beings.no other being is even close to him in beauty ,power, etc. he is the source.
he is like a painter and all the other beings are like his paintings.
don't you agree that our beauties and nowledges and etc are just some small shadows of his light.
don't you believe that he was the cause of all causes.
and can there ultimately be more than one "cause of all causes"?
can there be two most beautifull ??I want to call the most beautifull "beloved" can there ultimately be 2 or 3 beloved??
or we are in a journey to ultimately reach to our one beloved
,the source?

2-if there were more than one God (lets say 3 or 2), there should be some characteristics in common between these Gods and some uncommon or different
(because if all the things were the same we wouldnt say 3 we would say one) , so then each God would be made of 2 parts: one common part and one exclusive
part and Gods would be compound, but God is not compound like us ,because he is the source, he is a being that we no longer have to say: ok where is the source of his components!!!
and also if there were more than one God one God would lack the exclusive part of other Gods , God and lacking????

Not all Christians belive that Jesus is God.

Mormons for example believe that God (Heavenly Father) is a separate spirit and being from his spiritual and physical son, Jesus Christ.

In fact, the reason that the Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church split was over this very issue. Most Christian denominations have absolutely no coherent explanation of the trinity or "God the father" or "God the son."

Sorry to say it, but perhaps a confused Christian cannot give you a reasoned answer. (This is not an insult to Christians. As a Christian myself, I am totally confused by the concept of the trinity.) I would consult a secular biblical scholar or theologian. Also, liberal Jewish scholars have much insight into many Christian conundrums, especially since Christianity has its roots in Judaism.

Please understand that for a lot of Christians this is a loaded question that has the potential to upset some.

Jesus is the physical manifestation of God in the flesh. He is God the son living in a human. There are three parts of god that all interact together. God the son, God the father, and God the spirit. Just like there are three parts of a human being, body, soul, and spirit. They can't do without one another, and they all work together. Give Jesus a try, I've found so much satisfaction in following and believing in him. I'd also like to say that I'm really proud of how mature and respectful you are in approaching this subject. lol. The world needs peace! lol

P.S. I'm not debating you, but I want to find out more about what you guys believe. Who or what sheds the blood to cover your sins. It says in the old testament that sins can only be redeemed through the shedding of innocent blood. If jesus didn't who did. Do you still make animal sacrifices? Hello.
I definately believe Jesus is God. I don't know if this the "pure Christian" way to see it... but this is my view:
I believe Jesus was a part of God that was sent to teach us compassion and love. I believe he is God in the flesh, and therefore is refered to as His son. This is what I believe, through my life experiences. Although I have to admit I have barely read the Bible, but I try to attend my church every week. The Holy Trinity can seem very confusing at first, but the way I believe is that it is God in 3 different forms, the same God (or Allah as you call Him) yet referable as God the Creator (the Father), God the son (who taught us compassion and to turn against sin) and God the Holy Spirit (who is in all of us and gives us a sense of connection to what is right and what is wrong). Wow! you must be some fantastic lover with all that contemplation of love! We are but a small refection of His greatness! It does not boggle my mind, however, if God chooses to place Himself amoung us, perhaps in secret, or perhaps not, it tickles my mind to consider it! In the garden of Eden, we were children who romped and played together, but now here on Earth, we degenerate into squabbling like children who tattle upon one another to God: "See Lord, so and so broke your command!"

The CREATOR of ALL THINGS made the souls of ALL that WAS and WILL be from its own body. Before the creation of the Physical Universe. Therefore we are all Facets of the Creator by what ever name we wish to call It.And it has as many names as there are stars in the sky and grains of sand in the oceans.By ITS own WORDS.
The names may change but the basic idea is still the same . ONE CREATOR known by many names.

We Christians believe in one God also. One God, three persons.
1x1x1 = 1.
God the Father did not "father" Jesus and bring him into being. Jesus has always been, just as the Father and the Holy Spirit have always been.
It's not an easy concept to grasp. I would encourage you to read John's Gospel in the New Testament for a better understanding of the Trinity.

"Do you believe that only God is God.?"

My answer of course is Yes!!

My God (the God of the Universe who created all of creation with a spoken word) is a God of Love and Grace and Forgiveness, and Kind! He has forgiven us of all our sins through His Son! And because of His Son's sacrifice (the propitiation for our sins) we can trust NOW without a shadow of a doubt that we are going to heaven! We don't have to wonder!! It's not based on our works, it based on the sacrifice that God gave - His Son!! We can now come boldly before the throne of God and know that we know we are going to heaven because Jesus took our sins to the cross with Him.. all of them!

All you need to do is Confess that God sent His Son Jesus Christ to the cross to DIE FOR US!
Ask God to forgive us of all Sins!!
And try your hardest serve Him!
And trust in Him that He has saved you and you are going to heaven!! you know that you know that you will!!
