Is it normal for bridesmaid not to receive any part of "goodluck" money given to one of the other bridesmaid who opened the door for the groom? There were 8 bridesmaids.

Ah...yes! haha I didn't tell you the "good luck" money is a very common Chinese custom. :p

If money was given to the bridesmaid who opened the door (good luck money) then it would have been meant for all bridesmaids to share.

The goodluck money is generally quite generously distributed by the newly weds to friends, relatives and helpers of the wedding.
As far as I know, the goodluck money given to bridesmaids who opened the door are evenly shared among all. It's sorta natural thing to do, even if the groom didn't prepare separate shares for everyone.
That said, if you didn't stake your claim to your share of the goodluck money at the moment, the "luck" is passe and I'm not sure it's a good idea to go asking for it now.

if it's not given to the bride herself, i think it should be shared equally, but that's something that should have been discussed beforehand.
