There were only 501 of these made at todays value of $200,000 in excellent condition.

Actually I believe you mean the 1967 Shelby GT500 mustang. What year did you want to know about? They ran from 67-69. Also if you paid attention in the movie they state that Eleanor is in fact a 1967 Shelby GT500. Sorry to burst your bubble Hannah.

there are many different types of 1969, and eleanor is actually a 68. they mislabled it in the movie, but there are many of them(some number of thousands), and they are the most popular because of the movie, so the most expensive. dont expect to spend less the $20,000 on a nice restored one.

i think only one original was made , and anothers are with tuning body kit
