I have been out of school for awhile. He just started last year and has a few years left.

Also, he said that he gets a lot of fufillment from school... and that when he spends time with me he has a great time but feels guilty about neglecting his studies.

Yes, dump him, move on. If the relationship is not a priority to him, then it is doomed and it is better for you to get rid of him and find someone who is worthy of you and will make you a priority.

no, just give him more time and talk to him about this and let him know how you feel. tell him that you feel left out and you want to spend more time with him.. and if he doesnt plan to change tell him that you will find someone who loves you enough to make time. let him know that you should be a priority...if he doesnt want to listen or if he doesnt care....leave him!! but as i said, before dumping his *** warn him...if there is no improvement, apology from the heart or a change in a week..tell him its ooovvveeerrr!!!!!! you dont need him
