Well at a guess i would say that whoever she is buying it off of is having a laugh and lieing about what he is selling to her; it is not meth that she is taking!

That's a great idea, get beauty by flushing natural beauty down the toilet. Did your friend's brother also mention the mental and physical damage it does to your body? Or the fact that 19/20 people get addicted to it on the first try. Some of them having lifelong addictions. How about the fact, that though it'll make you skinny, your face will look like an old granny? You'll have acne flare ups, inability to sleep, and always be hungry. You're essentially placing your body into overdrive and the stress from this overdrive is what causes all these problems. Inclue heart and lung. @Adiana, the exercise bit is the only thing in that explaination that works. Most obesity (under normal circumstances) is attributed to stress and not food (as long as you're not purposefully stuffing yourself). Exercise helps relieve stress but food choice can and cannot make a difference in weight management. To some it helps. To others it doesn't. The main goal is to reduce stress and exercise. If you feel like eating healthier, that doesn't hurt either.

That has GOT to be the most stupid reason to use meth that I've ever seen. Or maybe she uses for a different reason and was hoping for the bonus?!? You can let her know she may or may not lose weight, her teeth and her mind. Is she paranoid about people listening into her conversations yet? Blocked off the peep hole in her front door? Think people are in her attic? Lost her job due to her erratic behavior? Started sleeping in her car randomly? Started stealing, lying, manipulating for money for drugs? Jeez. If I were you, I'd stay far, far away from her because if she isn't a basket case yet, she will be once the meth has permanently altered her brain patterns and she becomes a paranoid, obsessed, drug-addicted freak.

Using meth as a weight loss method is extremely dangerous. That's similiar to using battery acid to bleach your hair. Yes, it can cause the desired results, but more than likely you'll overshoot the mark and cause disaster.
Most people cross the line long before they realize they have. Your reality becomes skewed. Paranoia subtly creeps in. You'll start using it for other things like avoiding fatigue, partying longer, improving performance, etc. Next thing you know, one day you've got to have it and you don't even recognize it.
If you're thinking, "I'm too smart for that. If it gets bad, I'll quit." That's what I thought too. I'm in recovery now. Addiction isn't something you can think your way out of. It's like trying to out-think cancer. We carry meetings to treatment centers, so I'll keep an eye out for your "friend".

There are a lot better ways of losing weight than to snort a drug that rots your brain (and your teeth). Your friend is in serious doo-doo.

She either stays on it the rest of her life(which won't be very long) or will gain a HORRIBLE amount of weight once she quits. Try other metabolic boosters or *gasp* excersize.
