absolutely... that way, you will know where they are and won't inadvertently step on one of them when you get up in the morning; and they will be safe all night long. One thing, you should line the kitty kennel with lots of newspapers in case they peep or poop during the night.

As long as the cage is appropriate for kittens. Some cages have the wire spaced too far apart and kittens can get their legs caught, become frightened and end up doing damage to tendons.
Otherwise, it should be safer than roaming the house. Be sure to put some water, a litter box, some toys and a blanket in with them. Don't place the cage too close to hanging electrical cords that they could chew on.

Erm... My cat uses his litterbox two to three times a night. Two of which are pee.
He can hold it in (he did one night when a draft shut one door, while I was asleep and didn't find out until the morning), but I don't think it's a good idea to do that on a regular basis. I mean, re-absorption of urine, and all that.
I would support the suggestion to close them in a bathroom with food, water, litterbox, and toys. If you really think they will be troublesome outside it. Oh, and bedding, and don't leave the light on full. The idea is to get them to sleep at night (cats _will_ learn to, if you get at it from the right direction) and for that you need to give them the appropriate conditions for, well, sleep.
Me, I let my cat have the run of the flat at night. After I started play sessions each evening, he _mostly_ sleeps with me in the bed, which I love.

Sure, it's basically the same principle as crating a dog, it becomes their den. Cats tend to be active at night, so make sure that they have toys in the cage, and expect some gymnastics at night. They should have food, water, fleece beds, and a litter box in there, also.

The best thing to do would be to put them into another room like a bath room or some other room, where they can't get into any trouble and have their litter box in there with them. Also have their water dish there with them.
If you think the bath room is too big, then you can put them in the bath tub with their litter box and water dish. However, only do it if the faucet doesn't leak and you can put the stopper in the drain, because you don't want one of them to get its paws stuck down in the drain.

You're better off putting them in a cardboard box and closing them into a small room such as the laundry. That way they will have access to their kitty litter and water.

You would need to put in food and especially water. If you kitty cage is just a carrier, then it would probably be to small.

Well... you could but I wouldnt...When they are little like that you should keep them just to one room and just make sure theres nothing they can get into... (cables on floor..) I kept my cat in my room for a few weeks until it got used to my house and until he got used to me and my boyfriend.... I kept his litter and food and everything in there... then when we was ready I let him out slowly... then everything was good! :)

Only if they use to sleep in there, and still cats are rather nocturnal, so it would not be a good place for them for a whole night
